Sumi no Hana is made by Kaimei, a Japanese ink manufacturer founded in 1898. liquid ink for calligraphy professionals.
The ink is smooth, deep black with a matte finish. Water based. It flows freely from brush to paper without resistance, and dries waterproof. Use it for calligraphy practice, sumi-e painting, ink wash, or detailed brushwork. It performs consistently whether you are working quickly or slowly, on washi or on drawing paper.
